... stayed back at the 'lodge' with her, while Pepijn and Jordan rented their own ATV's. Jordan was supposed to be 16 to drive his own - but they let him take out his own (since he lied to them and said he was 16)!! ... the moment we crossed into Utah it went up to 102, finally, 'cooling' down to 99 degrees by 7pm!!! We decided to stay in a hostel and the great surprise is it is air-conditioned! Beautiful canyon, very different from the canyons we've been seeing in Arizona and Utah. Awesome place for our first night in Colorado, the spring snow melt was in full swing so the river was raging.
