... what they were doing and it was so obvious that they had a love of the dance. Nothing looked forced or fake. Every hand motion was graceful, every hip shake was awesome, every foot move was precise and every smile was genuine. They completely captured the audience of seniors when the came through the aisles greeting everyone. Apparently they have performed for 4 presidents, the Pope, and countless other famous personalities ...
Honolulu, Hawaii, United States marwilt... just been tourists camping, but many were clearly occupied by the homeless - vehicles which looked like they would never move again under their own power, dilapidated tents, portable toilets and so on. These were not one or two tents; they were extensive and must have had dozens of tents in some clusters. I'd heard something about this on Tripadvisor - not sure whether they have been there for ...

Hintataso Suomalaiselle melko edullinen, hotelleja loytyy jopa jollain ...
Waikiki, Hawaii, United States miiajussi... some shaved ice. It's that "must try once" kind of thing on the island so we waited in line for over an hour to "try it once". You can get it with ice-cream, black beans (I know sounds gross and your right), and sweetened and condensed milk. I got it with ice-cream and it was pretty good. After we all got a good sugar high going, we jammed out in Amos's van all the way back to base. On Sunday we got up and went to the church on base. They were really friendly and gave leis to all the ...
Honolulu, Hawaii, United States ejdonohu... the lifeboat though. I hope I never find out if we do or don't. After the drill I went back to sleep for an hour before getting up and studying some more for global. Our exam is at 4pm so the majority of people on board are studying hardcore. There were a few that decided to sunbathe during the early afternoon but that just hopefully means the curve will be greater! I am all for people failing it if they want too because then it will just make my grade look ...
Honolulu, Hawaii, United States claudiv... history. After showers and naps...surfing really wears you out...we decided we wanted to go out for sushi. As we were getting ready, the wedding reception set up below us was getting underway. Let me first mention that no matter the day of the week, there has been a wedding every single day at this hotel. This was a big Saturday night one, though. The bride was in normal attire as were her BM's. The groom was wearing black pants, a ...
Honolulu, Hawaii, United States mindydyan... rough at times. It was very worth it though; the views were spectacular. Truly unbelievable. On the way up, I kept wanting to stop and take pictures but I soon realized that though each shot was amazing, every single view kept getting better and better the higher up we climbed. Once on top, we saw the Pacific Ocean as far as our eyes could see, boats in the surf next to Waikiki, the ...
Honolulu, Hawaii, United States ilchicag... some necessities at the Food Pantry, and in the late evening the four of us went to dinner at a little place called Wolfgang Puck. Tomorrow we have our breakfast orientation at the Hard Rock Cafe where we will see what sort of things we'd like to get up to in our remaining four days in Hawaii. These include Hanauma Bay, Pearl Harbour and a visit to some of the places where film and TV shows have been filmed.
Honolulu, Hawaii, United States mario.travels... Station lookout. I was like, "This is it?" Then someone said no you have to get out and go up to the top. Getting out was ducking our heads and exit the station to the left to another 54 steps metal staircase. The breeze on the top was a welcome treat. The 360 degree panoramic view from the summit was really awesome. On the way down in the control station they were selling a certificate for making it to the top. It's $2.00 each. DD1 wants one but I don't have any money with me ...
Oahu, Hawaii, United States bakasyonista... and was over here on business. He said his work takes him to Liverpool a lot, so we got talking about that, then got into politics. He was the 2nd American I had spoken to (Billy being the first) who had said they prefer to get all their news from the BBC website as they can't stand the rubbish they're force fed here. Wow, an American with independent thought, how refreshing! We had lots of really interesting conversations. Like Billy, he was for ...
