We had a sleep in, and a quite morning again this morning. Then when we went to go out we realised the keys to Diana's garage, in her apartment building, were locked in her car, in the garage! It took a good half hour before someone finally went into the garage and we were able to get in, woops! We were on the road by about 12 and headed to Mt Pilatus for the afternoon. ...

We had an early start this morning to catch a ferry from Lido to get to the train station in time. We left the accommodation at 7am and had to take a ferry a bus and then 3 trains to get to Aarau, in Switzerland, just after 5pm. Diana was still at work so she organised for her lovely Aunty Sonja to pick us up from the train station, and take us to get settled in at Diana's apartment. We got an awesome surprise to find ...

... ringing and men and women dressed in traditional costumes. I managed to pass the queue of cars idling behind the horde and filtered through the cows avoiding putting my feet down on "that browny substance"
And that conclude my "78onabike" trip for this year. Next year is already in the planning stage.

We once again took the regional train and headed for Freiburg. It was a very nice ride and we were able to see many towns and farms as we headed deeper into the Black Forest. We went straight to the open air market which they have everyday except Sunday. They had great local produce and some interesting crafts for sale.
