... of Switzerland. After a gentle look around and some lunch (another lovely local soup with meat and vegetables) Joy - of all people!! - said she fancied going up the mountain by cable car. Now Joy is scared of heights, and these are pretty big mountains, but off we went. Two rather nervous cable car rides later, we were at the village of Murren, altitude some 5,600 feet and about half way to the summit of ...

The trip took about 30 minutes. It was very slow and in parts we could have touched the trees and tunnel walls. There was some mist, but we cleared it as we neared the summit.

The scenery was stunning. Some hills seemed almost vertical, yet there were ...

Week 7 brought 2 relocations and a load of fun. Today was pack, repack, unpack, sort, fold and get totally stuck on what I should and shouldn't bring on my Scandinavian trip which starts in week and a bit. For which I am totally and completely pumped! It's going to be so crazy, one month in foreign lands, with a girl that I've known since I was 2 but when I moved to Australia we lost contact for a long time, but then started talking a little again and met up in Europe for four days within ...
