... that even though we were up early, the stores don't open until 0900 and all the places that Joan wanted to see were up at the north end of town. Joan decided that it just wasn't feasible to visit the sites, so all she wanted was to find something to take back to the ladies back home from Sarasota. The 24 hour Walgrenes didn't have anything that said Sarasota on them, only Sierra Key which is the famous beach in that area that tourists come to enjoy. ...

... is very pretty with beautiful old buildings and Spanish moss hanging from the trees (it was originally a Spanish settlement). The fairy lights covering the buildings and the beautiful Christmas decorations throughout the town made this place really stand out as such a sweet little town! Savannah - again a very old town established in 1733! It is filled with squares and statues most dedicated to southern heroes. We also did a ghost tour here ...

... night at home. Friday I tanned, went shopping for everything I need for my trip, went to Galleria Mall with Morgan and organised a few things. I met up with Lindsay at the beach. It was so good to see her again!!! We went to McSorley's and downtown. What an awesome night!!! It's a lot quieter, many people have left.
