... not a bad way to spend my birthday!

Monday 9th June

Its home time today, and to make the most of it, we're up at the crack of dawn and out by the pool again before our 10am shuttle to the airport. I will be sad to leave the sunshine, cactus's and ocean, but will not miss having to dispose of toilet paper in a bin (due to their delicate system)! Adios Lanzarote, hasta luego!

... large, a second table was required, just for the plate! Rolling our bellies down the hill, we head to the Island Bar, for a live music night. The owner Cara and her husband Rory, are friends with my cousin, and Rory has us clapping and cheering all night long with his very entertaining music. The driver took us as close as he could before getting stuck in traffic. We got off the bus ...

... Spanish but of course failed miserably, even though the words were right in front of my I still said them totally wrong. But still solid effort for trying I guess. After we got back to the hotel the sun was kind of out and there was only like 70% cloud coverage, so we jumped on the opportunity and Em and I changed into our suits while the boys went to get dinner. As soon, and that's not an exaggeration, as soon as we got down to the pool and laid ...

Day 10: ¿Dónde estamos?

A very early but not as bad as I expected 3:30am wake up. We were all packed so all there was to do was get dressed and head downstairs. The airport was an hour and 15 away but the trains are not in operation that early in the morning. So we had to have a cab come pick us up. Very easy ride to the airport except our cab driver went into the parking garage for some reason, and then we he tried to exit it was going to cost 3 pounds, so he reversed and parked outside ...
