Castilla Alicante Hotel

These pictures are from me trying to take a photo of myself writing with my ancient feather pen from the Alicante market and from walking around Alicante on a tour of the the two cathedrals, San Nicolas y Santa Barbara.

... I wish my friends could be here with me. I know they would love this place. I wish they could visit. But all in all, I know that I have to do this on my own, though I'm lucky to have found such a great friend and companion in Elizabeth.
I hope that Alicante becomes someplace that I treasure forever. And more so that I learn Spanish and that it shows me that I can do something great, be something great, and be me. At my best.

So, day 2 in Alacant. Had to start off by finding the British consulate so Alex can get a new passport. After a pretty standard day we bought some cheap Sangria and food which we cooked in the courtyard of the hostel. Thats right 7 euros a night and it has an f-in courtyard. We cooked food, drank and ate with a few of the German dudes whilst the rest of the guys where lost in the city. After ...

First of all I can´t believe we actually survived the night. Whats more is that the lizards and cockroaches running around didnt go near me. Thats a good start.

Quand il m'a lancé la clé pour que je la garde, c'était comme s'il me confiait la mallette du Président de la république dans lequel se trouve le bouton pour enclencher l'arme atomique... Si ma confiance en soi devait se mesurer à l'aide d'une courbe ces dernières semaines, ce serait celle du CAC 40!! We got back to Alicante and were happy to be back. We enjoyed a little more time on the beach relaxing and soaking in the sun.
