That was the question I asked myself as I started out on my 50th day on the Via Francigena on Sunday 20th July. I didn't have to wait long for the answer as within 20 minutes I came across a fellow pilgrim, from Germany, who would become my walking companion for the day, and for the best part of two further days as well. He got me a stunning dress but I will need to go back on the 5 and 2 diet for a while before I can get into it!! We didn't actually do anything here so nothing to report - Just a pin in the map.

... the life of Guido's cousin Orfeo who will be sadly missed.

Boys spent the afternoon tree surfing while Gran and I caught up on some washing, it always feels great when you have a case full of clean clothes when you are traveling.
Spritz in the local piazza with enough nibbles - that always accompany pre-dinner drinks- to feed a small family!! casual walk through town before selecting the nights dinner venue. So not looking forward to cooking when I get home!!
