The upper Basilica of St Francis was spectacular, with frescoes, painted by Giotto and his school. Mum and I, listened to an audio, telling the stories of Francis, painted in the frescoes.
We had a very good lunch the second time we visited. Mum, Dad and Leah had bean soup. I had the most delicious spinach and sausage toasted sandwich ever!

... raising at times. One horse stumbled quite badly almost to the ground and a couple of others lost their footing...a bit alarming! We even got to share the road with cars, in Italy !!!. The meander through olive groves and vineyards provided some stunning scenery but not many pictures were taken as we had enough on our hands managing our horses.
