This castle is amazing! The rooms are great, the service are great! It's beautiful.

Special Mention to Lucca- I think he is the receptionist/Manager...If he is not the manager, he should be. This man made sure that we were comfortable, happy and safe. We missed our train in Rome and he was constantly on the phone with us guiding us back. Then he personally picked us up with the shuttle van from the station - even after he is already off to make sure that we are safe in the castle.

The breakfast was a feast and all the food were fresh and just so good. Definitely had a great time at the castle. Actually, you have to allocate one day just to spend in the castle and roam the grounds and swim in the pool.

    Beautiful experience!

Great hotel. Located approximately 30 minutes (by train) outside central Rome. Whilst you don't have the convenience of being in central Rome, the location of the hotel in the peaceful rolling hills is a great break from the madness of the City. The staff is amazing in their desire to be helpful. I highly recommend this hotel

... a well-informed guide to help bring light to the paintings, sculptures and tapestries.Xander even pointed out to me some of the paintings he had studied during his Renaissance block in school. It just goes to show that "he was listening in class"! One of the many things we learned today is that 35% of Western art can be found in Italy. You don't have to search very far to find some type of Medieval, Renaissance, or Egyptian art in Rome.

This morning was an early morning trip to the other country within Rome – Vatican City. I went on a Vatican museum guided tour with the most energetic and enthusiastic Pommy tour guide I've ever seen. She was just enthusiastic in her voice but she used her entire body as well! So funny – although there were quite a few people who were hung-over and so didn’t find her as funny as I did. :-) ...
