This castle is amazing! The rooms are great, the service are great! It's beautiful.

Special Mention to Lucca- I think he is the receptionist/Manager...If he is not the manager, he should be. This man made sure that we were comfortable, happy and safe. We missed our train in Rome and he was constantly on the phone with us guiding us back. Then he personally picked us up with the shuttle van from the station - even after he is already off to make sure that we are safe in the castle.

The breakfast was a feast and all the food were fresh and just so good. Definitely had a great time at the castle. Actually, you have to allocate one day just to spend in the castle and roam the grounds and swim in the pool.

    Beautiful experience!

Great hotel. Located approximately 30 minutes (by train) outside central Rome. Whilst you don't have the convenience of being in central Rome, the location of the hotel in the peaceful rolling hills is a great break from the madness of the City. The staff is amazing in their desire to be helpful. I highly recommend this hotel

... in the Trastevere area. Trastevere is a local bohemian, artist district with great nightlife. We hit our first snag here - dinner wasnt great, which is a shame after the really really great one we had here last visit. We tried a different place, and dont always get it right. After, we meander its medieval streets and take in more Christmas lights. Its been an enchanting day. We head back to our hotel and crash, for tomorrow we take the early train to ...

... as comfortable flying in Europe as they are in their homeland, even more so because European airlines still provide the amenities that we did forty years ago, including full, tasty meals on short flights and smiling, young stewardesses in short skirts. Asking for water at an Italian restaurant means you are buying a bottle of water. The choice is "water in a bottle" or "sparkling water in a glass." I haven't figured out why regular water ...
