It was a dark and stormy night

Buonasera!

There weren't many guests staying in the castle last night; the few stragglers of our moto group and one other random couple that we managed to chase out of the restaurant. The thunder and lightening coupled with the howling wind and knowledge that we were all alone in the countryside made for a creepy evening. After dinner, a …

Buonasera!

Today was our last day of riding. The angles above were crying, sad that the moto tour was over. Their tears were raining down on us. Sometimes they cried quite hard. It was a perfect day to spend in front of a roaring fire reading a good book. We had to settle for the roar of firing pistons and reading road signs as we had …

Buonasera!

Today John and I just wandered about Rome. No agenda and no particular destination in mind. The weather was perfect; blue skies and cotton ball clouds. A day designed for cappuccino and gelato at a sidewalk café. That is one thing I absolutely love about European cities. Their narrow streets and sidewalks with people spilling …

Buonasera!

1st day of exploring Rome. Well I am not sure what going on with me but I think I am having jet lag. I seem to go to bed early but I was up from 2am to 6 am on the 1st day, Staying in this castle is very cool, as I was lying in bed at 2am my imagination was going. I was hoping to hear a ghost & chains …

Buonasera!

Another day of exploring Rome. We got a late start so 10,000 other people beat us to the lineup for Vatican City. Oh well, I guess we will attempt a visit when we get back from the moto ride. We instead walked from St. Peter's Square to the Coliseum getting lost several times along the way before we finally found it. You know …

This castle is amazing! The rooms are great, the service are great! It's beautiful.

Special Mention to Lucca- I think he is the receptionist/Manager...If he is not the manager, he should be. This man made sure that we were comfortable, happy and safe. We missed our train in Rome and he was constantly on the phone with us guiding us back. Then he personally picked us up with the shuttle van from the station - even after he is already off to make sure that we are safe in the castle.

The breakfast was a feast and all the food were fresh and just so good. Definitely had a great time at the castle. Actually, you have to allocate one day just to spend in the castle and roam the grounds and swim in the pool.

    Beautiful experience!

Great hotel. Located approximately 30 minutes (by train) outside central Rome. Whilst you don't have the convenience of being in central Rome, the location of the hotel in the peaceful rolling hills is a great break from the madness of the City. The staff is amazing in their desire to be helpful. I highly recommend this hotel
