... standing. You were supposed to see where the Olympic touch is lit, but we never really saw it. I'm glad we didn't do the tour though because is was very expensive and the people at our dinner table said most of it was in Italian anyways. After walking the ruins we walked into Olympia market place, and had a drink at a cafe to get internet. We had to be back on the ship by 6:30 and are supposed to be headed ...

... order. This was all followed by a nap. It was a wonderful day.

Today we are in Katakalon which is the port for Olympia. We took a morning tour to Olympia which was about a 45 minute drive. The first thing that impresses you when you get there is the sheer size of the area. The first Olympic contests were held there in 776 B.C. The whole complex was severely damaged in ...

... we thought at last we'd get things done quickly including getting all our photos synchronised for the sake of the blog, but it wasn't fast as we know it. For 6 euros it at least put our minds at ease that all at home is ok. We have a 345 nautical mile overnight sail to ...

... day was partly cloudy and warm. Very warm in the sun. We had the usual slow start to the day. We both still felt full after last night dinner - it was our first transgression into serious recreational eating. Even Craig didn't have breakfast though he drank milk all day. It wasn't until 5pm when we had something light to eat - an ice cream. Craig went to the gym to do a weights workout about 11am and about midday he headed to the pool deck to sunbath and swim. ...

    A day at sea

A travel blog entry by pjwilton on Sep 06, 2014

A very leisurely day. No photos, but lots to do on the ship.
After breakfast, Le'Anne & Jeannette go to the gym. They plan to go the Belly Dancing class at 10:00, but it is too wet.
At 11:00, we go to a cooking show, where Chef Daniel prepares two meals from the Le Cirque menu. We get to taste the Napolian, very nice. After lunch, we go to the Team Trivia, beating our previous score of 3, going directly yo 7 out of ...
