John, Laura and I hopped over to Rhodes and waited while Simon joined us. I did manage to have a look around the main port and walked down to the beach but with the weather being the way it was, extremely windy and gusty, the beach was deserted and not really very relaxing to sit and be blasted by the wind and waves! Well, my day got off to a flying start when I went out onto our terrace... scruff cat had left the remains of his rat supper on the grass right between our two terraces... and they were swarming with wasps; must have been fifty or more of the blighters.
