    Steve reporting: Got to Versailles later than we wanted but very worth the trip. The opulence of Versailles is overwhelming as are the crowds! Wow to both!     ... Liz began to suffer from a bad back, so the girls and I packed sandwiches, fruit, and breton cakes….and headed for the beautiful Sables Blancs, just around the headland. It was getting genuinely hot, but we had forgotten our swimmies, so had to content ourselves with the FRISBEE!
