The service was coming to an end, just in time to see the procession lead by approx 50 priests in their vestments followed by the Bishop holding his crook (stick) then the coffin. The deceased must have been one of them. By then it was getting close to siesta time so back to check on the ...

One thing I didn't mention is that by now most of the busload of people were enjoying a shared 'cold/flu/sinus infection' that.....initially sniffles and coughs blamed on a 'chill from the airconditioning' I can vouch for as a BLOODY VIRUS OR BACTERIAL INFECTION you idiots. The fact that I was sick as a dog with sinus pain and fever (which later went on a chest cold...2 weeks on) confirms that sickness is ...

... any language but Italian. Also, the clothes drying on lines strung out of the windows was a good indicator the straneri no comma here. It was a small but nice museum, half of the exhibits only labelled in Italian so extra Italian study for me.

In the evening, had some spaghetti alla arrabiata and some unnamed draft beer, ordering and paying for in Italian, so I am pretty much looking like a "national" tourist--people probably think I am from some other part of ...
