    ... pleasure of being right on the top floor & it didn't help having 40 people trying to get in one poxy lift as the second one was broken. Finally in and the room was rather interesting. Not the nicest we had stayed in, and I got bitten near enough straight away by some bug so got my insect repellent out and disinfected my bed, much to becs amusement lol. Then we chilled for a bit in our room watching a bit of csi Miami trying to stop bits we had been to! ...

    ... in checking out every inch of the yard. I saw several lizards, one of Harley’s favorite things to chase, in the yard and he searched the bushes intently, sensing they were there. There was also a stray cat passing through the yard but he had to stay inside in case he got too close and the cat got the better of him. No need to be fixing claw marks on his nose.

    Leon cooked up some sausages and Gayle got beans and corn on the cob ready ...

    ... I saw a fin rise above the water line about 50 yards off shore. I instinctive yelled "shark" and ran to get my binoculars. When I focused in I saw not one, but three fins protruding from the water. From dolphins, that is. Well, it looked like a shark when I first saw it. They cruised by heading north, surfacing for air every once in a while. Made Cheryl look hard, that’s for sure.

    ... to the outside of the track and were then allowed to go into the new grandstands. Much of it was still under construction but we were taken up into the new seating and concourse area. We had great views of the entire property and got a taste of what was in store when the construction was completed in January 2016.
