We flew from Gatwick airport to Florence. When we arrived, we made the mistake of renting a car, in Florence, at night. After driving for half of an hour with no glimmer of hope that we would find the hotel before the sun rose, Brandon and I got in the front seat, me sitting on Brandon's lap, and between the two of us we navigated Dad to the Westin. ... hot and we decided to go thru a tunnel (for an addl. £5) instead of climbing these vertical steps up the side of a mountain!
