      Today we are heading to Santander for the ferry to Plymouth. Having looked into the pros and cons of our usual Roscoff to Plymouth route this came out on top. It saved almost 500 miles of driving, and the associated tolls,and at least two overnight stops. The savings did not cover the increased cost but as we had not used this route with the van and we could do the trip in a day we went for this option. Our routine ...

      Plane delayed until 13.30 so our plans for walking to Navarette were in jeopardy early on.
