Today we left Venice right after a hearty breakfast of bun. About a 45 fast walk carrying our super heavy backpacks to the bus tram that takes us to the bus depot. I was quite tired and slept a while during the 2 hour bus ride to Grotta Gigante. This is the largest cave in the world. There's no way to capture the enormity in pictures. Had dinner and ...

Unfortunately this was a costly oversight, and we were handed a 120 euro fine! Not a mistake Andy will make again!

On through the Slovenian border, this time WITH a vignette for Slovenia, we managed to get to Bled at half past 6. But the campsite we had found online was ...

... our legs and had lunch. Yes you are correct, Hofer doesn’t have restaurants, and we ate in the car park.

Despite only having the coordinates, and despite my scepticism, Snoop put us right on the doorstep of our next campsite. Nestled in the Slovenian Alps, Mojstrana is a perfect base camp for climbing and hiking. At Camping Kamne (46.46453, 13.95787) Tracey checked us in and ...
