... I-10 where we turned east to “Biloxi”, and a campground a few miles outside of the city, “Martin Lake Resort”. After setting up camp and cleaning up we headed into Biloxi and the “Boomtown Casino” for a little time at the slot machines; we also had a delicious combination
dinner here of ribeye steak and snow crab legs. Leaving the Boomtown Casino we visited the Golden Nugget, both casinos were the winners tonight.

... wonderful hospitality! It was a great way to get away, relax, and enjoy!

We had a quick turnaround time after we got home from bowling. The kids needed to grab their Bibles and head to worship, but we had all the doors locked and the kids were in a pickle and couldn’t get their stuff! Oops! So, worship started a little late and the kids were tired but we God still deserved our best!

... waiting for funds from FEMA to complete the restoration. The campsites are very nice, although a bit close together. Unusual for a state park, the have sewage hook-ups. All of this, plus outstanding scenery, for only $24 a night.


Lynnie and I walked through the park, admiring the new bath/shower buildings and the very expanse of it. Unfortunately, there are no trails now. The only one that existed went away with Katrina. It has ...
