Today we are in the port at Toulon (Provence) in France. Once again, been here, done this. This is also a more industrial port, so we stay on board again. So more cards, knitting and reading. Guenther has one of his hot stone messages (his favorite) with Marie from Jamaica as his masseuse. Guenther is quiet happy with this and ...

Today did not turn out exactly as we intended!!
When down in the town yesterday we found out that there is a bus which runs along the coast, stopping at most resorts. The service on Sundays is quite restricted, but there was a bus to St Tropez at 11.35am and one back at 4pm.

This time the water was like a bath and still so clear. We got out the smorkel gear again. After being in there for a while and all watered out, we headed back to the house. Evea and Colette were so hospitable, pouring drinks, handing out ...

Today is a beautiful sunny day. It is 18 degrees with a light breeze. It is the perfect day for a hike. Yesterday, we took a boat tour and visited 3 different Calanques. Today we will hike to the last Calanque that we saw on the tour, La Calanque De En Vau. Now, I've done lots of hiking in my day; I grew up on the Niagara Escarpment for goodness sakes, so you would think that we'd be ready for a 1.5 hour hike to the Calanque. Wow, were we in for a surprise. ...
