Jen here. I just visited friends and family in Memphis and am back in Owensboro. JD and I are trying to get the last details for our trip hammered out before we head in different directions. Inn-guests tandem bicycles and took off across town to walk the Harmonist labyrinth.  On the way we marveled at the gardens: huge extravagant peonies in many gardens, roses everywhere, vegetables growing beside almost every house.This afternoon we'll walk the Cathedral labyrinth and I plan to spend some more time in the Roofless Church (called so because the sky is overhead).  Photos of that later.

We been moving along to get home and it is a long way. So I'm going to post where we spend the night and then the next day it's off on the next leg. Were on our way to North Carolina and then to Florida. Sorry no pictures. Ray and Christa

We left at around 9:30 today and hit the road straight after breakfast. We did a short detour to see the Serpent Mound and some related stuff. Signs were saying that it has something to do with an ancient culture from around 800 BC. In fact the signs and some small hills are everything what can be seen there.
