Last year when we visited Tucson we stayed at Catalina State Park and then Gilbert Ray Campground near Saguaro National Park West. We did quite a lot of hiking in the Catalina Mountains and the National Park in addition to doing several tourist attractions - more than we've done anywhere else in Arizona.
