Early risers this morning. Captain Aggie had cast off at 6 and motored out before Geoff and I had rubbed the sleepy dust from our eyes! The sunrise was beautiful and well worth leaving early for. The weather pattern at the moment seems to be calm and pleasant in the morning with increased wind and waves in the afternoon. As we had a relatively short journey today ...

Could not have made a sandwich to save our lives. We wandered into the castle we had past earlier and discovered that it was actually part of the fortifications surrounding Otranto's centro storico. We did manage to find a good restaurant up on the ramparts overlooking the marina. Although a little windy, the view of the ...

... It also home to a very loud dog that was adamant that the three bikers it could hear, but not see, leave the road near its land. The third section seemed to have been created by a truck filled with red clay that was leaking out the back as it drove through a field. This section had also likely seen a meteor shower recently. According to the tour company, they hear of about 3 flat tires a year. Odds are, all three take place in one of these three sections! Regardless ...
