... beef & salad, watermelon plus red wine. Very delicious. Afterwards we travelled to Pisa, another 1.5 hours away. Then walked for ages in the hot sun and some shade to see the amazing sight of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. I could hardly believe my eyes! ... little finds! Had to stop at a bike shop we road past where Roberta took little convincing to acquire some cool gear (and no Scotty I'm not to blame for the encouragement!). We also got talking with the young French sales assistant who was a champion mountain biker in France. Funny though, we got snubbed though by a pro female Australian cyclist for the Orica Green Edge team who was in the shop and heard us talking! Go figure!
