NICE

The water colour of the sea is bluer than the sky.
A more modern city shopping options which are endless with brand shops on every corner.
Breathtaking coastlines with photo opportunities everywhere.

Unlike Cannes the beaches at Nice, although still very scenic are more rocky than sandy. This didn't stop the crowds of beach-goers soaking up the sun.

It was a short but crowded trip to Montecarlo. We made our way from the train station, straight to the Prince's Palace, well more or less (the train station was a multi-level confusing mess). We got to the Palace with time to spare, the changing of the guard was not for another 20 minutes. This gave both of us time to cool off, but me in particular, it was a hot day and I was wearing jeans to safeguard my entry into the casino.
