... had lunch etc then headed back to do some shopping since we needed a few items like toothpaste and deodorant. Because the kitchen stove wasn't working we just got some noodles to have later that night.

We spent most of the evening in the common room, a new lot of Busabout people had arrived so we chatted a bit with them.

We are both looking forward to France and ...

... places to eat. Lucy was hungry again. Oh dear. Luckily we didn't stop at one of the restaurants along the canal and walked further where we stumbled upon a large open air market. It was really cool. Had lots of organic food stalls and lots of places to sit. Our host had encouraged us to eat Italian food and drink Italian wine so for the 5th night in the row we did. I slept through the boys getting up at 8am and was woken with Lucy poking me at 9am. Had another provided breakfast at the hostel!! After eating a big breakfast we spent an hour packing up our stuff. Whilst packing we were provided with entertainment by aspiring Eurovision popstar, Emma, who was dancing round the room doing karaoke. France to Italy

Today we left France behind for a while and crossed the border into Italy through the Frejus Tunnel which connects the two countries. The Tunnel is 13km long. It was a relatively stress less journey as we stuck to the highways. Although Chris did not like it when there were road works and the lanes got very narrow. We arrived in Milan and navigated to our camping ground, although one of the streets we were directed down by the GPS was a dead end due to road works ...
