This is a simple hotel, with simple rooms, with a simple breakfast, that will do job.
If you want a pool, a breakfast with 3 miles and a runaway to put the car...this is not what you are looking for.

These last couple of days have been chillout days.

They are so nice! :)

On the 31st, we went to the gym during the day, Davide mowed the lawn and skyped his friend in Australia. After dinner, we walked for 2 hours. Along the way, we stopped at a park and sat on the swings! :) So relaxing. :)

On the 1st of September (pinch, punch!), we did NOTHINGGGGG! :D It was splendid. ...

... we seem to be travelling through a valley with mountains on either side. We pass Lake Maggiore, mountains still in view, travelling south to Milan, weather is improving as we go South, we arrive at Milan station 11.37am. Train leaving Milan at 12.15pm so quick stop at toilets, that's 1Euro ($1.40 AUD), decided to grab a quick lunch at Burger King and use the toilet on the train for free! The train from Milan to Rome travels at 297kms per hour, ...

... recently was remodeled to correct acoustical  problems caused by WWII bombings.As one might expect, many famous historical sites in Milan were damaged by bombings. After La Scala we visited the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II.This is a huge four story tall glass-domed mall. It was the first building in Milan to have electric lighting. The designer, Giuseppe Mengoni died the day before the gallery opened. He climbed up some scaffolding and fell to the ground below ...
