A lazy last day, doing some washing, walking, running, swimming, and checking Bess has not had her piglets. Also went out to lunch at 2.30pm. Both went for a run this morning along a newly discovered track that keeps us off the main road, and away from mad locals. Then big breakfast, and a boiled egg, and some cafe poolside. Wanda, our eccentric hostess, suggested she showed us round Alcacer do Sal, as it was a "wonderful place to sit and drink something". So we set off about 9am. So I am now on my own in the van whilst the boys are all off fishing with the neighbours, Mike and Ken. I just hope they weren't after peaceful fishing!!

We really are in the middle of no-where here, it's great! There is nothing to do except walk or cycle around the barragem, fish in it or relax and read!! Just what we need after 5 days in the capital, no where to spend money!!! Especially with christmas looming ...
