Around this time we decided to make our exit and in the time it took Robert (the elder) to secure the keys for Tia Natalia's place, the light balloons were released and the cake was cut. Although getting to the farm was tricky, getting back home was very easy with our ...

Wanda's Wonders

Wanda, our eccentric hostess, suggested she showed us round Alcacer do Sal, as it was a "wonderful place to sit and drink something". So we set off about 9am. I'd planned to put Mum and Wanda in the back to talk to each other, and to have Mel in the front of the car. Wanda was having none of it. She wanted the Sat Nav off, as she knew much better and quieter roads and "that thing will drive me insane" she said. Fair enough. I turned ...
