... overnight stop at Mmmmm. We pass through more stunning scenery including another hill top town called Episcopi. Eventually, aft dark, we arrive at the town of mmmmm, but cannot find the hotel so we stop at s petrol station and a driver who is filling up,is very helpful and said if we follow him he will take us the.......which he does and were very grateful as we do not know how we would have found it otherwise! ...

... which is a speciality of this area, Puglia. In the afternoon we went for another walk through some of the city, which is mostly lined with shops selling clothes and shoes, of course looking very chic, from the designer wear of Prada and Armani to the more affordable stores H & M and Zara. ... No one had taken out telephone numbers so it didn't really matter and I'm sure they would easily be able to let someone else have it. We did buy some wine and tried to buy food for our long journey the next day, but it was not really the best place as they were charging tourist prices. ARRIVAL AT CASTROVILLARI

Once arriving onto the mainland we were quickly on the road again driving the next two half hour leg to Castrovillari. By the time we reached our accommodation we were ready to just book in and rest up before working out what to do for dinner.
