    ... has a beautiful beach and a good tourist trade, we did not bother to look any further.

    Our day started with an early morning wake up in sunny Madeira, then a short trip to the airport to drop off the hire car. Plane was delayed an hour, but no problems as we had plenty of time before our next leg.
