... up being such a great experience; though I began this trip very uneasy about the lack of structure and support in teaching, it ended up being for the best, because Ashley and I were able to plan classes the way we wanted to instead of having to follow strict rules and curricula. ... how they form caves, while also getting to see some creepy huge spiders and experience complete pitch black when we all turned off our headlights. In addition to the eerie atmosphere this cave held, the guide told us about this one trench (40 kilometers deep) where an old woman apparently fell and never came out of. The popular story is that she haunts it, which I could not handle believing, because in the dark, that cave was scary.
