... were annoying slightly bigger than what we were used to so getting in and out of the water, plus laying on the ground were actually pretty uncomfortable. We were keen to try parasailing at this point but didn't want to go without Eloise so Annika went looking for her and she promptly turned up at our towels. ... We walked past the wedding cake/typewriter building on the way to the Pantheon square. We then had lunch directly opposite this magnificent building. We shared a pizza for entree and then I had a pesto pasta which came out in its own cheese basket. It was delicious, the perfect Italian meal. Athens! The epicentre of ancient philosophy, architecture, and democracy! 3000 years of history around every corner and below every street. You are amazing.
