... our goodbyes! Kassie had created a Facebook group though so we should be able to add all our new friends, see the photos from our trip and the rest of everyone's travels. We met Sonya, Troy and Caitlin about 8:15ama no then met the tour guide at the designated meeting point. She then walked us to our bus once everyone was accounted for. However we arrived in Athens and were amazed at how mountainous Greece was. We took a bus into the city to Syntagma Square where we walked to hotel. We were shocked by how dirty Athens was. It was already getting dark so we walked around the Plaka for a little bit and found a place that gave us a free class of wine for dinner. We then went to bed to rest ...

... The agora was the center of political and public life in Athens. It was a large open area surrounded by buildings of
various functions. The agora was utilized for commerce, political, religious and military activity. Meetings were held four times per month to enact legislation, to hear embassies, and deal with defense of the city-state. In addition, some public forums to discuss ostracism were held in the agora. The law courts were located there, and anyone who happened ...
