Day One (21 June 2013): Mission Monuments So as everyone had work on the Friday, I was left to entertain myself, which can now be otherwise know as walking as far as humanly possible. I left Lars' place to walk down 17th street to Du Pont Circle and then proceeded to walk down Connecticut Ave towards the White House and Monuments. We then checked into our hotel, which is gorgeous!! Most students were exhausted from our first day and went right to bed. After 10pm check in's we said our goodnights and got our rest for another long day.
