It's such a funny place, there is sand everywhere
I arrived in Jericoacoara after a long trip from "Barreirinhas" along the coast where we drove with a 4W Drive mostly between sand dunes or on the beach. I had almost no expectations of Jeri. I knew that it is supposed to be another “one of the best beaches of Brazil” and it has a nice laid back beach life, and unluckily that it is more a wind and kite surfer's paradise than a surfer’s paradise. Paradise
... until Tuesday morning is sit around and relax. Hearing stories of the treks and tours that ´we have to do´ in the other parts of this enormous continent make the need for rest and relaxation all the more prudent. The hammocks in the main common area of our Pousada have become my choice of location as I look to finish my book and maybe grab what little of a tan I can actually get.
