It turned out that this is a rite of passage for the graduates and the singing we heard was also part of this ritual and not part of a strange Greek life ritual that we assumed it might be. I’m not sure that this would be allowed at home but the students seemed to be having a wonderful time and the onlookers were having even more fun!

      Well we were sad for our time in Lucca to end, what a sweet little city, would love to come back and spend more time relaxing. I went to the market to grab some snacks for the train since we weren't getting to Venice until 2:30. We checked out of the B and B, and headed to the train station. They were horses that had been stolen by Venice, than by Napoleon for France and then brought back to Venice. After that we walked across the square to the Doge's palace.       ... Marco instea of the train station lol he was worried because we barely made the train back to padova! I walked so much that day I was knocked out early until noon the next day! So awesome!

      I really miss my girlfriend!!! I can sleep because I'm so tired but when I wake up in the midst of the night, it's much easier to fall asleep when she's there and asleep because when she sleeps the world seems quiet and comfortable!
