      ... came back to see her in 10 years. We signed shirts, many kids asking for phone numbers and about novios. Rachel got a wonderful note in English calling her a 'better friend,' and a 'person honey' which we all cherished.
      Kayley was the last to say goodbye, and had the sweetest hug for Marybella, the 3 year old who easily befriended each of us.
      That was my moment. Making the connections with all of the kids this week has been so world changing to me. But watching ...

      After dinner at the hotel, the kids enacted the quincianos ceremony. Which is basically a fake wedding ceremony to celebrate her coming of age. Kayleys fathers, Natalie and Annalore, toasted her and helped her choose her court. They danced ( her pretend husband Caleb promises he'll work on perfecting her waltz soon) and celebrated and then we spent hours preparing items for our group for the last day ...

      Running on the beach in 30 degrees heat and 90% humidity is hard work!!!

      I ran barefoot once, sprint training in the soft sand...it was a mistake as all of my toes blistered.
