    ... didn't want us to get burned from our jewelry getting hot. When we finally got in the plant, we were all given a hard hat to wear and we started the tour. We were only allowed to take pictures in certain areas, but it was funny though because most of the workers would stop what they were doing and take pictures of us!     ... was a primaria class. The last classroom looked more like a tin shed and we learned that this was actually the first classroom the Conafe built before adding on the other cement classrooms. All of the classrooms were very well decorated with posters all over! There were books in each classroom and all of the supplies were given to them by the Conafe.     ... after the trip is done.

    Again I am having some trouble sleeping, tonight I feel very tired but I think that it is good as I will sleep better. Part of it maybe some home sickness and worry about my family as they are having some bad weather there and I worry about their safety. But, I would not have it any other way as this is turning into a very valuable trip that I know will help get and go far in a new career.

    ... A large group of us went into La Plaza, which is the mall. There were an extreme amount of shoe stores there...my favorite! We also all went to a bar in the mall and had a great time talking and laughing. I also got to experience my first legal Corona which was 2 for 35 pesos. For those that only know dollars, it was a $1.33 per beer!
