... Ausflug habe ich nochmal Charles getroffen und wir sind mit dem Zug fur rund 50 Rappen 50 Minuten hin (und wieder zuruck) gerattert. In Tigre gibts einen netten Markt mit allerlei Krempel und Charles hat noch fleissig Souvenirs und Mitbringsel eingekauft - mit meiner Hilfe als Ubersetzerin :D Nach einem etwas fragwurdigen Zmittag (Wurst-Sandwich) haben wir uns noch den Fluss angeschaut und eine Glace geholt. ... the trek to pick one as it was turf time and the Farmers pins were not as reliable as they used to be...he picked the sturdiest Brazilian he could find from the line up...the lad had a lowish centre of gravity (as was needed for the task at hand) and he had the physique of a JCB (or a Junior Corner Back)..short legs, long back, long hands and solid as a rock..the Farmer decided that the Brazilian's lack of English would not be a hindrance as the job was straight down ...

... enjoyed it. Back to the bus route to Newberry airport. Alsie was a little nervous about walking the streets so late at night, but we wanted to save the cab fare and the bus is only 30 cents. We got on the 33 bus again and headed out around midnight. This 33 bus did not go directly to the airport. We had to transfer to the 45 bus, but we finally got there. We were lucky we didn't get lost and stuck in downtown BA after midnight.
