    We arrived in this beautiful city at dusk so we weren't able to get the most out of it. Stayed there only for one hour and we spent that time in Parco Civico capturing the flickering lights of the city surrounded by mountains. The view from the shores of Lake Lugano was fascinating. It's truly a must-visit city and I'd love to go back and see it in broad daylight. ...

    ... started off, then panicked a bit when I got a bit of speed up and realised how steep it was) and there are some great pictures of Stephen crossing his skis and hitting the snow. As Meg says the views from the top were magnificent and while it was a hard climb after a day of skiing was well worth the effort.     ... Apparently the Italians feel its rude to give it to you in case you feel like you're being hurried out; you're paying for sitting and relaxing in that spot as well as the food! Now it all makes sense! This town and this lake look much busier and more populated than little Lake Orta. Happy with our decision. Friday, rest day.
