    We have today and tomorrow in Santiago as rest days. No that doesn't mean doing nothing but it doesn't involve packing the pack and tossing it on and walking for however many kms to the next bit of food or a place with a bed. Towards the end of the mass, the famous Bota Fimeoro was swung from one side to the other with it's flaming incense. A ritual from the 14th century. We are pretty tired and my feet are a mess.     ... Oviedo. Before getting there we visited Playa de las catedrales on the way as we heard from Eric, Renato's partner at work that it had such nice beaches. We are attending the one tomorrow night which has the Bellifumo service that is being especially done for one of the American walkers who is walking this as gratitude for being alive after serious illness last year. We did spend a couple of days with her across the Meseta. That planned worked and it was only an hour to get our compestella.
