... to go. Otherwise we had the coffee con leche in a nice courtyard, if you overlook that it took around 30 Min to get some empty cups and another 15 Min after asking again that the coffee cam: oops I mean the cup of hot milk with 2 tbsp. of coffee.

... collected by the casa hosts, but there was some miscommunication and after waiting for 15 minutes a very nice man, who according to his business card was a tour guide, linguist, accommodation arranger and taxi finder, found us a taxi friend of his and took us to the accommodation in his black American Classic car, for the same price as a normal taxi. The highlight of Cienfuegos for us were the people we stayed with. Cuba has a highly government regulated arrangement where people can rent out rooms in their house to travellers. Approved houses for internationals to stay in are marked with a small blue cross above the door, and while expensive compared to Mexico and Guatemala, are a much cheaper option than hotels.
