Hola Santa Clara - Day 8
... Mausoleum. We had the opportunity to see a number of photographs and historical pieces from Guevara's life. We then visited the final resting place of Ernesto "Che" Guevara and his companions.
On our way back to the hotel, we made a final stop at the local Ration Store where Cubans go to pick up food and supplies on a monthly basis.
We ended the day with our farewell dinner across the street from the hotel.
Tomorrow, we head back to the States.

Hola Cienfuegos and Trinidad - Day 7
... has been the case in the other cities we have visited, we gathered on the city Plaza (Plaza Mayor) and learned about the history along with a description of the buildings surrounding the Plaza. We visited the Iglesia Parroquial de las Santisima Trinidad, the city cathedral that was built in 1894 on the site where once stood the original parish church.

Hola Cienfuegos - Day 6 - Bay of Pigs
... over the years. We then walk across the town Plaza to listen to the Cantores de Cienfuegos choral group. This group is made up of men and women who rehearse three hours a day and performed Cuban, Spanish and American songs for us. They sang beautifully. Their rendition of the American folk song, Shenandoah, brought a tear to my eye.
After the concert, we checked into the Hotel Jagua and dined in the hotel.
