    In spite of its egalitarian principals, public transportation in Cuba is basic and poorly managed. Passengers sometimes have to wait very long periods for a bus to arrive. Morning queues are enormous, though everyone seems well behaved, if very frustrated. When a vehicle finally arrives it is extremely overloaded.     After that, we headed to the port to board our cruise ship, the Louis Cristal. For the next four days, we will be sailing around Cuba on her as she makes her inaugural season on this run. We will be amongst the first Americans to circumnavigate Cuba by cruise ship.
