    ... the river Ebro the Cathedral was very large. Walked back to the city in the evening for a drink. Next day carried on to Daroca an old walled town with cobbled narrow streets.     ... to say the least. Next, we “practiced” by flooding our raft with water. This was terrifying in the heat of the moment, but it was still fun. Next we got out the rafts and went “swimming” through the rapids. We floated along and walked next to it. It ended with us jumping off this rock into deep rapids. It was amazing!     CASTELLON DE LA PLANA, SPAIN


    A city that is off-the-beaten track for cruises but has an interesting downtown core.


    However the area is better known for its beaches that collectively are known as the Costa Azahar.




    FYI - Castellon is the ceramic center of Spain with over 200 factories in the area.
