    ... side of the road -- they ride RIGHT at you. We all jumped back! It was amazing to watch a peleton of hundreds of riders packed tightly together. A highlight for Sam and Henry (big Tour de France fans).

    Then we discovered the next reference to vuelta -- back to school. Everywhere signs announced Vuelta a Cole (short for colegio or school). On Wednesday, Henry bravely put on his uniform and walked with Doug and I the two blocks to school. What a scene! ...

    ... people don't do it enough! In August, I have been working a lot in the 35- 40 degree weather, with ridiculous humidity causing me to have 3 showers per day. However, I have had time to see a few more places in this stunning country, with James. I have been working with a girl aged 3, teaching her English and doing childcare tasks in her family holiday home. It has the most unbelievable views, and I have had a new experience which I have learnt ...

    Leaving the hills behind, we head for the Valencian coast and our last stop before our arrival at our apartment. We have decided to stop at Benicassim. I know nothing about the place, other than that there is a huge music festival there every year... but not when we are passing through. We are not expecting very much... The nearest I have been to one of these types of music festival is glimpses of rain and tents in muddy fields ...

    ... An even more amazing statistic - 80% are here, in their motorhomes, from October through till March! These guys have got it sorted, I mean, why on earth would you sit in Britain for the winter when you can sit in the South of Spain in temperatures averaging around 20 degrees.
