We arrived in Como after a long drive from Bassano via Verona and the Hertz office to replace, yet again, the GPS. The Neverlost might be the case on the odd occasion that it works, but without it getting lost is actually quite simple. ... I continued towards Lago Di Como and soon saw the first glimpses of the water. I took the first exit and headed down to the shore. There were quite a few people around, but I found a place to park the bike and go for a walk.

After a half an hour stop I headed South along the shore passing through small lakeside villages and looking for a good stop to have ...

... fast as they would carry me, down the hundreds of stairs and into the church itself. (Instead of wait in line for the lift) The church was very special and rather breathtaking. The ceilings were so high and extravagantly carved and all the woodwork and artworks were expertly handcrafted and painted. Everything was just so elaborate. The church was massive. Just so seriously enormous! The stained glass windows were breathtaking. (Even though I was doing the ...
