After a quick rapid volley of Italian we hear "Oh, Cahleefornia!!!!", then we are greeted with handshakes and vibrant smiles. Also in the square is Novello Michetti, second cousin to Lisa's Mom. ... grew up. We also wanted to visit the Corropoli congregation for their meeting, Saturday at 6pm. Due to our rental car adventure, we were running late. So, four people who spoke little Italian walked into the Italian speaking 6pm meeting at 7:20. So so glad we did. First a funny part: when we walked in, the attendant looked for seats. The famous tower that leans! This was only a very quick stop in Pisa to but compete tourists :) we couldn't afford to stay much more than an hour anyway because it costs an insane €200 an hour to park in the car park around the corner from the tower.
