... to my room to do homework. I had my back to the door and was slowly backing out as we talked. I was more or less out of the room when I actually turned around, and as I did I was met with a quick, loud noise and a jerky movement (like someone trying to scare someone) of Rebeca's oldest son. Goodness I jumped! He and Rebeca got a good laugh out of it, as did I! Well, Moises, the son, said he was just trying to help me wake up. He did a good job!

... merengue, which I don’t know as well, so I learned a thing or two. Then, since I was 1) the only student the teacher actually knew and 2) more advanced than the others, I became the teacher’s assistant. So, I did get a few good dances in as we were demonstrating for the other students. When I was dancing with another student, it was a girl, so I took the guy part which is good because now I can teach the moves to other people. ...

... refrigerator, I got a peak as to what was in there--lots of fruits and vegetables. It was completely different from any American refrigerator: tons of potatos, limes, onions, jalapenos peppers, eggs, a pineapple and I don't rememeber what else. Not one single pre-made substance. I think I'll be eating pretty well here. :)

I also met Sasha at breakfast. She's a Korean exchange student who'll be in Guanajuato for the semester. However, ...

... now”. We suspect the tape will never be used. In the end we got in and got a position near the front fence of our section practically within touching distance of the stage. Shakira was even better than we’d hoped; amazing songs, incredible dancing and (for the men) lots of gratuitous close ups on the big screen of her bum in a very very tight pair of trousers. By the time we went home we were happily euphoric and had sung ourselves hoarse. Shakira! ...

... had this lentil soup, chicken, tater tots, rice, and lemonade. I was kind of in a bad mood because of the project when we were eating dinner, so I pretty much ate and then escaped to my room to do my business homework.

Then, while I was doing my homework, Holly ended up Skyping with Gavin, her boyfriend. I was so exhausted and cranky that I decided to quit working on my homework and take a 20 minute nap. I ended up napping for a while and ...
