... in Mexico! Anyway, the soccer game was good fun. The actual playing wasn't all that exciting because the final score was 2-0, the home team lost, so there was no jumping up and down in excitement. However, it was still very entertaining. There was plenty of yelling when refs didn't call penalties and so I pretended I cared and made a lot of noise too. As always, any new experience leads to some cultural learning. ... which Yannick says should be in the next 4km on the right. We don’t see any side roads, so Yannick pulls out the GPS and says, "We should turn in 4km…6 if you’re slow." Shirley is a little confused, but jokes back, “Another 4km? That’s what you said 4km ago!” At 12:30pm, we find a place to take a break. When we are about to leave Yannick says we would should see the turn in another half a km. We go…and go…and keep ...

A Very Mediocre Day

... out, but I think it’ll be fine.

When I got home, no one was around, so I unpacked my things. The laundry was done, so I ended up folding some of that as well. There’s a problem with the laundry, however, I’m not sure what is happening, but my white cotton shirts are getting all stained up in the wash. When they come back, they have all these dark stains all over them. A t-shirt and a tank top have been ruined. I have to talk to Magda about that, because if I ...
