Into the Woods
... today, and the place was abuzz with excitement. Unfortunately we were a little too early to see Mr Cousteau, but did catch a glimpse of a couple of sea lions, both blind and in the process of being rehabilitated. Across the Golden Gate
... same trip, it was a great way to spend the morning. We rode at a leisurely pace stopping regularly for photo snaps and Phoebe and Blakey snack stops. As we rode, the day warmed up, and despite the wind the journey across the bridge was fantastic. We dodged pedestrians and took in the view back to the city and across to Alcatraz. Biking the Bridge
... as I've pretty much worn block every day until now.. An hour later we headed to find bikes to cycle over the Golden Gate Bridge. It took about an hour and 30 total and you catch the ferry back. Really cool way to experience going over the bridge apart from I was wearing a dress - I Marilyn Monroed the whole way across. Thankful that I was wearing thick leggings.. Sausalito
... do girls play softball where you all are? we all played in school so once we figured out 'bottom of the third' we had it all down pat...unfortunately it was SO OMG COLD we couldn't stay very long, so we got our obligatory grotty stadium food and legged it (if garlic fries ever sound like a good idea to you, you'd be wrong) the highlight for me so far has definitely been a trip to Muir Woods and Sausalito...the woods have 2000 year old redwood ...
