      ... at the end and actually found some items we wanted, so went to queue up,, only to bump into a real life, ex-convict, who was doing a book signing. This really made it all seem real. It would be days later, sat on the roof of our Hollywood hotel, when it dawned on me that we should have actually bought his book and had it did we miss that one!       ... on Telegraph Hill, from which you can get panoramic views of San Francisco. Then on to Fishermans' Wharf with a taste of the seaside and after a coffee stop and a sit down for half an hour to watch the world go by we made our way to the bike hire shop where we hired two tandems!       ... damp is awful. I ended up walking out of the tour and going back outside to the ferry to wait for the others. I wasn't the only one. It was not a nice experience at all.

      Once back on the ferry, I felt a lot more relaxed, and started to take some pics of the city surrounding the bay.
