We all met at the Ft. Myers Airport at 1:30PM. Everyone was excited and some of the students were a little nervous! After checking in our baggage, we took a few photos and headed to security. We made it through and waved good bye to our families. We boarded the plane and were on our way! Skylar did a great job for a first time flyer! In Atlanta, we took the underground train to ...

My suitcase was bang on the limit according to my scales, so I did some to-ing and fro-ing between suitcase and rucksack to make absolutely sure I wasn't over the low limit of just 50lbs (22.7kg).

... to the mouth of the canal system and had dinner at a waterfront bar and grill. We begged off on watching the sunset in favor of hitting the hay, the time change or the gin had caught up to us!

The next morning we car pooled to a Cuban restaurant and "broke fast" together. Hugs and kisses and we were off...up Highway 41 to Bradenton and a Dove family reunion.
