Day 9

... disgusting. I disinfected mine, but it still grossed me out. After we looked at all the fish up close, we had the opportunity to jump off the boat! I got some cool videos of that. I got sort of sunburnt, so a nice shower back at home base felt good after a busy day. Everyone got all dressed up, we ate dinner, then listened to a talk about how we can go further with GLA, 7 elements and the Dominican Republic. Lots of pictures were ...

Exactly what had happened on Sunday...aargh.   So we ate at Gordito's - a tex-mex restaurant. Which was awesome. When we arrived back at the hotel what do we discover? Matilda (the kitty) lounging on our hallway. Yes, cats are psychic. She came in for a can of food, petting and ...

... here. What did I get myself into?

This thought crossed my mind multiple times, throbbing and fading. When my work at Mariposa started, and my days were filled with purpose, things began to show real promise. But the moment I truly began to consider this my home was that when I saw the ready to go water cooler, pump attached, knowing that drinkable water was only a pump away. The feeling of being at home increases more every day.
