This weekend we decided to take the bus down to Sosua. Even though or bus left late and we only got to spend 3 hours at the beach before catching the bus back, the gorgeous beach was so worth it. Today we spent the day in Santigo, a city about fourty five minutes from La Vega. We visited a meuseum and the monumento de Santiago. It was interesting to learn more about the history of this beautiful country. We also visited a local shopping area and picked up some suveners. We also got to eat at a local restraunt where they cooked delicious chicken and rice.
