... and we would have been soaked. The beer was wet and the scenery was good, and so we settled in for the afternoon. It was still raining when we left so we were soaked by the time we got to the Mexican place for a beer and had something to eat before having a shower. Ivan was very disappointed that "cate blanchett" nor Teresa were working. However we did talk Morena, a hot hot girl from Arisona who actually had a cup cake business ...

Fromthe Palace we visited the Bascilica of St George (the one who killed the dragon) which was a chapel, dark and filled with visitors. It was constructed in the year 1142 and most of the original structure remains. Beautiful but not awe inspiring like the Cathedral.

Befoe leaving the castle complex we stroll down Golden Lane. This charming little street, with its brightly painted ...

... see if tonight`s flight is also over-booked. Chances are low, but hey - we don`t mind another 300€ each and another day in Prague. :-)

Well, the flight was INDEED over-booked, and we DID volunteer to stay another night, but at the last minute, we were put on the flight, so hey, we enjoyed the extra day in Prague and the money that will (eventually) get into our accounts. :)

Though it is less like what we think of as a castle, and more like a walled city on a hill The castle provides great panoramic views over the city, and has its own cathedral in the center. St. Vitus Cathedral is just as impressive as Notre Dame in my opinion, and the wait was 0 minutes vs Notre Dame's 2 hours (and we were there on a weekend).
