Anyway, there was mother and it's baby that stayed right with the boat. They were so beautiful I had the urge to jump off the boat and swim with them. ... named after the beach we were sitting at: Playa Jardin which contained egg, bacon, lettuce, tomato, cheese and pineapple - seriously worth a try if you are ever in Tenerife. ... downhill. Just up. First gear, slowly grinding up. Lots of breaks, lots of stretching, my back was killing me. What I was most looking forward to now was the end of the tree-line, which I knew meant I would be nearing the top. The main commercial area has been pedestrianized so it was very pleasant roaming around the numerous tourist shops selling volcanic inspired jewellery or gorgeous silk handbags.
