Ave Miguel Estefano 1001, Enseada Guaruja, State of Sao Paulo, Brazil, 11440-530
Guaruja, State of Sao Paulo, Brazil tomasbymDuminica am plecat de pe Ilha Grande spre continent.
Sao Paulo, State of Sao Paulo, Brazil dragoscurelea... off like a pig on a spit, it was *************ce I had mastered that I had to position myself so the board wouldn´t sink! I kept telling myself it was because the board was so light and it was nothing to do with all the bread and cheese that has settled and made home on my belly, hips and ass! But Bruno told me the board was not so light, so it was the cheese and bread, and my ass! But eventually I managed to stay on and float on the board and spent ...
Bertioga, State of Sao Paulo, Brazil mrsplaying_deadLeft mizzie at the Terminal as she transited on to London. Then proceded to try and find 1) luggage storage; 2) an internet cafe; and 3) a hotel for the night. Thought was going to have to shell out for 5 star at 340 Reals ($160 USD), but a spruiker actually worked ...
Sao Paulo, Brazil chadandmizzie... attractive with its slate roofs, character houses, cobbled streets and splendid plazas Cusco was rather a disappointment. It has a unique history in being the centre of the Inca empire that spread (over a 100 years) from Ecuador to Chile/Argentina. It was too touristy (we got hassled) and rather dank and wet. However we were very active taking horse rides to the ruins, a two day river rafting expedition and four day alternative trek to Machu Pichu! We really enjoyed the ...
Sao Paulo, Brazil sarahcolvin... for the awful few days we'd had. That evening as we were getting ready to go out we had news that Maryam's dad had passed away. He had been sick a while and was 72 years old but it was still very much a shock. Maryam was very upset but decided she wanted to keep busy and carry on as normal so that evening we went to an Irish Pub called O'Malleys and rolled in at 7am the following morning. Ironically we had the best night ever. We met some Cabin Crew ...
Sao Paulo, Brazil a.mulveyToday I'm in Sao Paulo and it scares me a little because it's such a huge city and I wouldn't even know where to begin. My fear also derives itself from...well...plain and simple: the lack of Derek; the lack of a partner-in-crime, the lack of a good travel partner. So what am I doing here? Well, I had a few plans in Sao Paulo, but primarily, I wanted to see Derek off. It was so sad, a nice good little ...
Sao Paulo, Brazil annalog... they told me I could trade my ticket for a flight from Sao Paulo to Manaus the next day, but I was on my own to get to Sao Paulo. I started looking around the airport and I found a new Brazilian airline called GOAL. They had a flight out at 1 a.m. that got me to the wrong airport in Sao Paulo. Sao Paulo is HUGE. I sat down and figured two things...one...my options were limited...and two...if I took a cab between the airports I could probably make it in time. I booked ...
Sao Paulo, Brazil gringoloco... Finally, when you´ve eaten enough, you turn the wheel to the red half, indicating you need a break. In case you are not completely satisfied, there is a three tier trolley, with every dessert under the sun. I´m not a big carnivore, but I couldn't let this truly Brazilian experience pass me by. By the way, my face is red from too much sun!
Sao Paulo, Brazil eboydee... the blazing sunshine ! Hey ho, that´s travelling I guess, sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn´t - OK for Herdy and I but really not the best consolation for poor Elio who was on holiday for two weeks... Sao Paulo was interesting, we stayed in a relatively cool area which made walking around safe and easy. Its a place I´d learnt loads about through my Geography studies way back when, so I was interested to see it and suss out how it compared to the image we´d ...
