    Today I finally got off the plane to Brazil. I went to my hotel at the Hotel casa da Montanha, and by that time is was around 12:30. I wanted to do a little exploring to see what was out there.     Au petit matin, vers 9h nous arrivons à Guaruja. Aucune carte de la ville ne nous aide pour s'orienter et malgré nos tentatives auprès des locaux, ils ne savent pas la direction ou ne nous comprennent pas ou nous ne les comprenons pas. Bref au final Terry s'orientera grâce aux montagnes alentours! Comme quoi c'est un vrai aventurier maintenant ! Ah ah :D Notre marche débute et elle est longue, très longue surtout à cause ...

    ... cane juice before we returned back home to Ana and Zico.

    When the sun set we went for, what was described as, a big sandwich. They werent kidding o.O

    The finale was a drive up to the Oscar Niemeyer Lookout point over the Bay of Saint Vincent from the top of the hill on Porchat Island. Even though it was dark it was still beautiful

    Afgter a long day and a long night, we headed to bed, next morning it was back to Sao Paulo!

    ... and then just a few minutes before midnight the AIDAcara left Santos and we enjoyed this spectacle on Deck 11 for a little while.

    ... especially when he wandered back out with them hanging down around his knees. Brazilians are strict followers of fashion - especially on the beach, always wearing the latest trend and the stretched cotton boxer look is one that is never going to take off. Seeing him emerging from the surf clinging to his sodden boxers was one of the most disturbing experiences of the entire trip. Here's hoping that the trend is not repeated ...
