An early start meant we made it to Hopwas at 2pm as planned to meet up with my parents and grandparents.

It was our first day of bad weather, although it wasn't actually that bad, at one point we went under a bridge and came out on the other side in torrential rain. But we had to make progress due to a plan to meet up with my parents and grandparents for lunch the next day.

While there was only 1 scrapbook vendor and Bobbie was able to find a couple of things, we did have fun looking at all the different kind of craft things being sold and/or demonstrated. One of the biggest differences was the number of men at the show. At home these types of shows are attended by 95% women and if there are men most of them are either sitting in their cars waiting or ...

... love for Hazel to a new level. It was as though we had been living in a cardboard box and that box was our world and now we found ourselves living in a landscape we had never experienced before and it was breathtaking. There are many really tough ideas that the bible throws up. If you pray for wisdom and understanding God will open your eyes and give you new perspectives. Who would ever believe that being second best is better than being the best?
