    With 1000km to drive in 2 days to get to Logrono to meet the girls, we had a fair bit of driving to do. We drove out of Portugal along the coast to the North-west corner of Spain before heading along the north coast and stopping for the night in the seaside town of Gijon.     The site was on a rock promontory with spectacular views out to sea. The ships waiting to enter Gijon were straight out before our dining table!
    It does not have a pool but it does have a bar and restaurant.
    All in including electricity with free WiFi €23.00 for the night.
    Had our meal with the sea below us in the evening sun.....glorious.

    Today a group of us returned from our trip to the Picos de Europa, in the northern coast
