    WE DID: - Bus from Bariloche to Neuquen (5.5 hours). This was our first experience of Argentine long distance buses, with many more to come! We basically spent the afternoon/evening slumped in the hotel frantically researching a way to see some dinosaur bones the next day...     ... tip off that the drive to bariloche is beautiful so we opted for the panoramic seats in the front which gave us the best view of the scenery.

    The first 4 hrs of the bus ride was **** but the last 2 hours as we approached bariloche was amazing! Mountains started appearing out of nowhere and magical blue, green, turquoise lakes started popping up everywhere. I guess there is a reason why they call this the lakes ...
